Simmons Simmons Bedding, Simmons Mattress Company Refuses to back defective air mattresses with their name on them because they say that the Sleep 2000 company produces it! Atlanta, Georgia
In July of 2011 we purchased 2 Simmons Queen size Hi Loft air mattresses. One at a store in Vermont and one at a store in Massachusetts.
Within 2 uses these mattresses started to lose their "quilted" look on one side, which caused a bubble up effect. By the third use the bubble was so high that it was uncomfortable to say the least. The users were not large/heavy people and no jumping on, kneeling on or keeping near heater occurred.
I contacted the chain stores (both the same company) and they informed us that they only took back defective returns up to 15 days. We then contacted Simmons Mattress company through their website.
They e-mailed me back to say that they do not actually make this product and I had to contact the Sleep 2000 company and gave me a phone number. I called and was rudely told to scan the receipt and take pictures, and then they would decide if we could get a REPLACEMENT ONLY!
I contacted Simmons again and complained that their name was on this cheaply made defective product and that they should take the mattress back and give me a refund.
They told me to deal with Sleep 2000 only.
Simmons puts their name on cheap defective products made by other companies that no one will do a refund on!

I contacted Simmons Mattress' customer service again telling them to check out their Rip Off Reports. They had Sleep 2000 contact me. Carla Williams, President of Sleep 2000 was wonderful! Very polite and helpful. She says that a refund check is being sent out today!
It is awesome that Sleep 2000 is a company that will stand behind the product that Simmons puts their name on and refuses to back up.
