Sleep Inn Bakersfield My car was hit in the parking lot. The person swore and verbally abused me on Camera in the lobby. Managment did nothing about it nor did the police. Bakersfield, CA California

First night of a two night stay, I left the hotel at 7 AM and saw a white truck parked inside the white line in my parking spot and left a scratch on my car. When I came back to spend my second night, I was shocked the same white truck was in front of me when I came up to the entrance at the front door. I approached these two black thugs and showed them the picture they hit my car. They immediately became confrontational. They yelled at me saying I hit their car. I said, I have a new car, I would not hit your car.
You are the ones who parked inside my parking spot. I said, what time was that? When did you check in? They said, 2:30 in the morning. I told them I was in before 10 PM and there was no one parked either side of me. These gangsta thungs would not give me there insurance information. When I called the police, one of the thungs comes up to my face in the lobby and calls me a piece of s**t and it was a buff job. This was on video tape and the front desk person did nothing about it.
The Bakersfield police and the California Highway Patrol would not help me because, it was on private property even when on video tape verbally assaulting me. The hotel would not help me either. I feel ripped off becase, they did not provide me security or had my back and throw out those gangsta mother f**kers and nor did they refund me my night stay. By the way, the hotel is in a very scary unsecured area. I tried posting this review on tripadvisor and they would not post it and this is the only place I feel I get some redemption and warn any travlers booking a room at Sleep Inn Bakersfield.

F*** You. Who are you why do you care and had to post? You cannot see or read. You are wrong. I was paked there before 10 PM. They arrived at 2:30 AM they told me. They parked in my space idiot. Hotel did not step up and throw up the people who were verbally abusive. Not a race issue identifying the who they were. Just as if it were two white thungs. I deseverd a refund for the incident. I had proof and showed CHP. Again if you read my review, it was private property. Look at the photo a**hat.

A few points to make here -
1. "I approached these two black thugs" - No need to make this a race issue since it's not
2. Why would the hotel refund any money because your car was scratched by someone? The hotel didn't scratch your car.
3. Hotel staff isn't going to be confrontational with people just becuase they are being rude to you. That would be a lot more unprofessional.
4. How would highway patrol help if you have no proof?
5. The hotel camera system would not be able to clearly prove that they scratched your car. Even if it did, the camera isn't there for this type of situation... it's there for insurance purposes.
6.You're misdirecting your anger at the hotel when they had nothing to do with this. If someone's car is scratched in front of your house is it your fault? Do you have to provide evidence for them or compensate them?
7. How did they get out of their truck if they parked so close? I may be wrong (only you would know), but it looks like they were there first and you parked close to them. If that's the case then a scratch should be expected.
