I got this host and paid upfront, then realzied I did not ask a critical question. On asking I do not get an answer, I get a really stupid question. Well, based on that I know that they are small time and I cannot put my company's life on the line with them. I asked for a refund and cancellation, since even after 24 hours there were no services rendered.
Their reply was that due to the Patriot Act, I have to give them my Drivers License to get a refund... an Australian company is not under the jurisdiction of the Patriot act and you do not need to prove identity to refund to the original payment source, in this casea credit card. I tell them that is BS and well, read the screenshots provided for everything. I had to cancel my card and get a new one and have to wait up to 72 hours for my bank to reverse the charges.
