me and my mother went to perchase a chocolate puppy from jessy priced at $650. i fell in love with a white puppy who wasnt ready yet, so she made us a deal. $1000 for both *fully registered* as we would be using then for breeding our 3 dogs and a friend of ours who also breeds shihtzus(the white pup was more of a pet for me) . we agreed and payed for the chocolate puppy,(took him home) and put down a deposit on the white puppy. we were to pay the rest when we came to get the white puppy and the papers would be given to us as well as it says in the contract she signed. several weeks had passed and it was time to go pick up my white puppy and the papers. i called and called and finally i got a hold of her. she told me she would give me a call on thursday about when to come get him on friday, i was extemely excited! especially, since it was so close to christmas and he was suposed to be a christmas present from my husband who couldnt get me anything himself because he was deployed to afghanistan around this time. anyways, thursday passed, friday passed, and the whole weekend passed! finally after several calls failed i got her by email. she told me the puppy was too small and she didnt think he should go yet, and i should give him a couple more weeks. i thought this was strange because he was 8 wks and the mother likely has weaned him. i was getting pretty worried because the chocolate puppy was quite thin when we got him and the white puppy was a much smaller dog and more vulnerable to malnutrition, and i worried competing with the other larger dogs may be too much for him. she disagreed and that was the end of it. about 2 weeks later i tried to call about how he was doing and if he was ready yet. MONTHS passed and so did christmas :( with no answer!!! our worries shifted to the chocolate pup who had no papers at 6 months old now. so my mother called her about just sending the reg. papers to us, but jessy had BLOCKED our number! that was the last straw!! we picked up and went to her house, 3 hours away. she was very angry with us for coming to her house to inquire(she had no problem when we were buying the puppies though) we asked her for just the parents registration numbers so we could pay the fees if that is the problem, so she wrote it down and threw it out the door. i asked her what happened to MY puppy we put a deposite down on, and she yelled "IT DIED" right before slamming the door....i was heart broken.....we tried to register the chocolate puppy but she never reported him even being born to AKC so, we cant.we cant use him for breeding.he is the sweetest most beautiful thing and we love him, but useless for what my mom purchased him for! i never recieved another puppy to replace the one i put a deposite down on, and i hope she only told me he died to be mean, and she really sold him to someone else. we were completely ripped off!
