Anyone who knows anything about munitions or firearms entering into the formal transportation process knows that unless you have a priority as established by FEDERAL, State or military chains, you CAN NOT just send items of this, nor many that don't even fall under the category of "HAZARDOUS GOODS" without certifications that can NOT come at the rate mentioned. YOU MUST use the "ORANGE BOOK", AFJMAN 24-204 and or many other publications on top of employing proper POP markings, and/or use of all properly procured markings that coincide with these items, while scheduling as MISSION ESSENTIAL or higher, to travel by Vessel, Rail or Air to its final location....ANGOLA, where it doesnt just enter by mail, and MUST BE PROPERLY ACCEPTED AND PASS THROUGH CHANNELS that many of us who understand what is available in ANGOLA, and will not get pushed off a truck or dropped from a plane like the movies lead you to believe.

I bought a CA 94 weapon off of Special Weapons on Gunbroker.com. I purchased it directly from Todd Bailey and every since I bought the weapon it has not worked. I got ripped off to the tune of 1100 dollars. I had to have a gunsmith fix it for an extra 500 dollars. Todd Bailey is still up to his typical corrupt business practices.

The first guys comments about receiving weapons overseas in two days is ridiculous. He sounds an awful lot like a guy I've seen elsewhere on the net who claims to be some sort of "special forces" mall security guard and in reality is a complete moron.

I've owned an SW5FS for several years and it functions flawlessly. I've used many different types of ammo without a single jam. I've used H&K mags, Turkish contract mags, and a Beta C drum with out a problem. The gun is as tight as the day it arrived even after several thousand rounds through it. At 75 feet I can rip the center out of a target with the SW5FS. As for pricing when I bought mine it was on sale for $1100.00 to the dealers retail was $1750.00. There was 1 dealer that carried SW's and he was charging the retail price, the other dealer in town ordered it for me at the sale price + 10% and shipping. Now this was several years after introduction, but I was happy with the price as an MP5 was 2 1/2 times that price. I've talked with the dealer that ordered it for me, and we've talked about using his sear and taking it full auto. I have no fear that it will work just as well as a real H&K MP5. I'm still using the extractor spring that came with the gun; I've got friends that have true H&K's that have had to replace the spring several times already. Todd's business practies many be a little different then other companies, but they make a great weapon. As it was once explained to me by a gun smith; you could put 3 of the same gun by the same manufactuer and they would all be different. You could have a good a fair and a poor, and they all came off the same machines. I've even bought an SP10 1 of 500 that they put out. Right now I'm looking into buying the H&K USC/UMP conversion that they are making.

I am still waiting on the 2 sw5s at $700 each I reserved and was promised yrs ago. I think having a friend make up and post that Angola rebel "story" is very insulting and should be against the policies here. Nobody in their right mind could be convinced Todd Bailey could jump thru all the govermental hoops to get that ammo and those other widgets or any other materials or implements of war for that matter into a foriegn combat zone in 2 days. Do you live on the same planet as the rest of us??? Please provide us with simple proof of your claim, ie export documents, corespondence with state dept etc, even if this deal was worked by wire thru a foriegn country some documentation of your claim has to exist.

I sure hope your life doesn't ever depend on these "copycats" in a real fight. The big gun-makers charge more for their weapons for a reason. Good materials, good machining, and good quality control cost more. Leave the crap for the gang-bangers. Want cheap but reliable, buy surplus SKS rifles for a song, and they won't get you killed from jamming when you need it to work.

Over the past several years Mr. Bailey has spawned new companies to market the same product lines as the previous. This wouldn't be so odd except that in this industry it tends to coincide with certain "flaws" either in the product or the corporate structure. This is commonly seen in companies like Lorcin, Jennings (which recently resurrected as Jimenez Arms), HiPoint and other companies marketing a product of questionable quality. Here's the list of companies so far: TACTICAL WEAPONS TRAINING ACADEMY INC COHARIE ARMS, INC. COHARIE ORDNANCE FACTORY INC. OMEGA ARMS, INC. SPECIAL WEAPONS, INC., A CLOSE CORPORATION ACME PARTS INC. BCH MANUFACTURING, LLC TOP NOTCH ACCESORIES, LLC TOP NOTCH ACCESSORIES, INC BOBCAT WEAPONS INC. I've seen examples of his product that were of good quality and others that appeared to be built from a parts kit and items found in the recycle bin on the side of the house. Anyone considering buying a SW/Bobcat/Omega/Cohaire product should inspect it closely and confirm the warranty coverage before purchasing. One might also do a simple internet search for "Special Weapons +Todd Bailey" or "Special Weapons +Toad Bailey" and read the associated information. The product is hit or miss, the company well......never mind. My .02

I purchased my SW3 .308 G3 Clone used from a police officer looking to liquidate some of his gun collection assets. Since I missed out on buying an original HK 91 before prices went insane, I thought this gun would make a great addition to the collection. I have been happy with the rifle and discuss this addition to my collection quite alot, because I believe the rifle was a good value for what I paid for it. The fit and finish of the gun are excellent and the only malfunctions I have experienced with it were while using a used HK magazine, which was bought separate from the rifle. I have run mostly suplus military ammo through the gun and it operated flawlessly otherwise. I would consider buying other Special Weapons Products in the future.

Todd Bailey puts out unreliable, unsafe products. He always threatens to sue anyone that tells the truth.

Nick has been posting lies about my business on the internet for years we have decided to let Nick put his money where his mouth is and we have sued him, he avoid the process server for weeks but was finally served and we expect a default judgement against him any day and will post the judgement here. Also the above photo was us being served by Frank Miller that case the Judge just ruled in our favor and we are asking for $400,000 in damages read the judges decision here. http://www.tactical-weapons.com/New%20web%20site%20special%20weapons%20inc/080803millersummjudorder.pdf The judges decision speaks for itself, and even the judge thinks that Mr Miller may have broken the law in operating a business after the corp was closed. We are contacting the MO state federal prosicutor to see if he might be charged with ATF violations a federal felony.

In my line of work as a security technician, life and death depends not only on the amount of firepower at my disposal but also how reliable it is. I am proud to say that I use Todd and Wendy for all my weapon needs. They sure came in handy two summers ago in Angola. I needed one hundred Hammicher-Schwaab HS187D's FedExed ASAP, as well as 10,000 rounds. They had them to me in two days, and when we were through with the rebels they didn't know what hit them. We made such an impact that all we had to do was say Todd and Wendy and the rebels threw up their hands in surrender. When it comes to exotic weaponry, I use Special Weapons exclusively.
