Sports On Canvas THIS IS A SCAM !!!! AVOID THIS PERSON AND COMPANY AT ALL COST !!!!! Internet
Our business, Frame Designs, Inc., was approached by Chris Bartholomew of Sports on Canvas and his "investor", to frame 80 of his sports canvases that he intended to sell on his website and at racing events. He told us he had been in business for over 10 years and that he sells dozens of canvases a week.
He said he was looking for a better price than what his current framer was giving him. We printed and framed 80 of his sports pictures and he had someone else pick up the canvases (which we did not know he was not picking them up) and he did not send payment with that person. He said he would drop the check in the mail. The bill was for $2002.
After a week, the check did not arrive, so I called him and his "investor" to get payment. I could only get his voice mail and he would not return my calls. I called his "investor" (Cindy Lockhart) who brought him to us initially. That is when it all started to unravel. She had already given him money to expand his business and he was supposed to use that to pay us. He didn't and he basically just disapeared. Cindy (the investor) was now out $15,000 that she put up for him and we were out $2,002 for the framing.
And since then (this began in April, 2013), we are finding one person after another who has been taken either by Chris Bartholomew (girlfriends, landlords) or by his company, Sports on Canvas (Frame Designs, Cindy Lockhart, and other investors).
Chris Bartholomew is from England and he is here on a passport. He has been here many years taking advantage of people and screwing them over.
I want him stopped! I don't want him to do this to anyone else. He is also still taking orders on his website (but of course, not delivering).

I would like to link this story to my RipOff Report on Sports on Canvas. This is a link to a newspaper report from the U.K. This man, Chris Bartholomew, a.k.a Chris Baines, is a wanted scam artist who has an arrest warrant out for him in the U.K. and he is being investigated in Canada. The authorities are now on to him in the states.
PLEASE beware of this man!

The real name of Chris Bartholomew is Chris Baines of the UK. He is wanted in the UK for scamming people there. He was a "furniture dealer" there and he scammed many people. He also has a lengthy complaint record with PayPal.
Please BEWARE of this man. He is good at what he does. Do not fall for it.

Unfortunately we've been duped again. Chris Bartholomew contacted us and offered to pay what he owes and straighten everything out in exchange for a positive rebuttal on RipOffReport.com. I was against it. I did not trust him but my business partner wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. BIG MISTAKE. Chris Bartholomew NEVER lived up to his end of the agreement.
STAY AWAY from this man and his company Sports On Canvas. And beware of any other business names he may use. Frame Designs, Inc. has NOT settled this case with Sports on Canvas aka Chris Bartholomew.
We want to make sure noone else looses money because of this guy. Beware if you choose to do business with him.

Contact has been made between both parties and this issue has been resolved. Any miscommunication between parties has been resolved. Sports on Canvas is in good standing. Thank you Sports on Canvas for your quick response to this issue.
