If you really want a response or a resolution from Sprint then when you get a live body on the phone tell them you want to cancel your account and get the "customer cancellations" or "customer retention" department. Its amazing how helpful that department will be when you are going to cancel your account. I've been a Sprint customer for years and years and when I have a problem that doesn't get solved the first 5 times with Customer Care then I just tell them forget it, send me to cancellations. Within 15 minutes, problem solved and usually a credit (not a temporary one) on my bill. I would switch companies but I have friends with other mobile carriers around here and they say the other carriers are god awful. At least I get a credit for my aggrivation - those I know with other companies don't get that. Good luck!!

Yeah they told me that, the only problem with that was the message wasnt a full number. It was like 616 or something like that, and it changed with each message so that was the only problem there, But thanks for the suggestion.

If you are receiving unwanted text messags or e-mails on your Sprint phone there is an easy way to solve it. If you go to Sprint.com and go to the manage section, and then go to your online tools page you can easily block e-mails and text messages from any mail address or even text messages from any phone number you do not want to get them from. I am not sure why someone from tech support did not tell you this but it works and is very easy to do, now if they could only make it that easy to stop phone calls you do not want to get!! LOL Best wishes and sorry that I had to tell you this instead of tech support.

I agree 100% with your complaints about Sprint. I am so tempted to just disconnect the darn thing because of incompitance on thier behalf. The only addition to the problems that I have had to deal with from them in the past year is, someone in cyber space entered in thier cell phone number incorrectly and put in mine instead. I recieve about 30 text messages a day! with stuff like "Dancing Dildos trade so and so" or "Fuktards lost so and so" Turns out I was being charged .50 PER TEXT!!!! I was told that this was fixed time after time BUT I kept getting them. They would put a credit (which I later found out was just a temporary credit-what the hell is that supposed to fix!!??!!) but it was removed in 10 business days and my phone would be turned off! This went on for MONTHS and MONTHS. So finally I went into a store (so that I could UNDERSTAND SOMEONE AND NOT BE HUNG UP ON 5000 TIMES)and told them that if they did not fix this then they were going to have to disconnect it with no charge. They THEN informed me that the only way to resolve this issue was infact to change my number. I realize that is a perfectly fine option, but not for myself, this is my business phone and that would mean ALOT of calling to clients ect. Well i finally just changed the d**n #, no problems YET, but there is NO way that I will ever ever renue with them

If your phone service no longer works at your home, try moving.....LOL Just kidding, alright, next time you call ask for customer retentions, they are much easier to deal with and will give you alot less run around, they may advise you to have your handsets updated, and that is an easy task, for the most part you can do that by dialing *2 from your handset, but in some cases you may have to go to the store. And if all else fails and they can not get them back to working in your home you should be able to get out of any remaining contract time for that reason. I wish you all the best and hope I have helped in some way.
