stanton optical false advertising, deceptive practices, bait and switch tactics beavercreek Ohio
We were taken in by the deceptive tv ads about free eye exam and second pair of glasses. The "optician" was curt, short, did not have a friendly outlook, didn't wait for the eyes to focus during the "test" before changing optics.
Were told it would be about 10 days, it was weeks before we got a call they were ready. Went to pick them up, no pair, of the 4, was right, the manager said he would set up a retest. When we went in for the "test" was told it would cost another $45 plus "consultation fees". Was told "no refunds, no exchanges unless we wanted to pay an extra $30 per lens to replace the out of focus lens'.
Now I see why the Miamisburg store has since CLOSED.
Once they get your money, sorry for YOUR luck.
