AT THE STATE LEVEL:

The voters of this state approved the formation of a State Lottery Nov. 2000. This has still not been implemented. The Legislature has determined that the people who voted for this

proposition did not understand what they were voting for and they have therefore added so many amendments that they are unable to get the law enacted.

The voters also approved the proposition that the property tax on vehicles be repealed in Nov. 2000. The Legislature has determined that the people who voted for this proposition

The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles sold personal drivers license information to a company in the Northeast WITHOUT the permission of the licensed individual. What happened to the privacy of South Carolina residents?

The State Police puts on a seat belt road check program during major Holidays. The seat belt law is a secondary offense in South Carolina and cannot be used as a primary reason for stopping a vehicle. This procedure has been declared illegal by the State Attorney General but the police continue the practice and the Judges uphold the convictions and fines.

Trying to contact your elected officials, Senator, representative, Attorney General and Governor, at the State level is futile. They will not answer a phone call, email or snail mail. However: when it's election time the request for

monies flows in endlessly.

The school system is so antiquated that in the National Rankings South Carolina ranks at the bottom or next to the bottom depending on the year the results are reporting on. Some School Officials have been convicted of FRAUD for using state monies for personal purposes such as lavish vacations and cruises.

The Medical system in South Carolina is at the top of the National Rankings if you want to die from a Heart Attack, High Blood Pressure or Diabetes.

State Police attempted to pull over a deft senior citizen from FL.. When she finally pulled over the State Police Officer dragged her out of the car at gun point cursing her all the

while forcing her to the ground. This one made the National News. The Police at all levels are corrupt. They fabricate offenses, violate your civil rights, verbally abuse you, think

they are GOD, and will not hesitate to screw you.

This State is a Right to Work State.' This means that

as an employee you have no rights. You will work unpaid overtime, more than eight hours a day and Saturdays, or be fired. You will restrict you travel distance from your employer or be fired. You will get permission to go to the bathroom or be put on probation. Slavery to your employer is mandated. Mention a UNION and you will be out the door. Do not have an independent

thought for your superiors will consider you a threat and head you towards the door. The state will not even investigate a complaint against a major company. You are on your own if you work in this State.

The Attorney General has stated that anyone using deadly force to protect home and family will not be prosecuted in South Carolina.

AT THE COUNTY LEVEL:

The County allows a private water company to rip off customers by demanding deposits' that this company refuses to return until the customer terminates service with them and will not pay interest on this money. They have been holding my money, against my will, for five years. This company also bills there customers for water that isn't used which is fraudulent. I contacted an attorney and it isn't worth their expense to pursue the matter. A privately owned monopoly can get away with ripping off people in South Carolina. Someone is being paid off.

The local newspaper, Chronicle-Independent, accepted money to run an announcement. The publisher decided that he had the right to violate my first amendment rights and refused to run the announcement. The add contained no profanity. It was critical of a local company and he decided to censor it then pulled it.

The County Assessment Office has revalued all property. The new value was out of line on my property and after meeting with them and getting no where I hired a private assessor from my home town and he agreed that the counties assessment was to high.

When I presented them with the private assessment, the county said they would look at the appeal but they have the last word. The County has the hidden agenda of getting the property values as high as possible so that they can reap greater tax revenue at the expense of ripping off the property owner by over valuing

their property.

I observed a woman trespassing on my property with her dogs and letting them do there business'. I informed her to get off the property and to pick up her dog droppings as she left. About an hour later the Sheriff showed up. They wanted to arrest me for verbally assaulting the woman by telling her to get off my

property. They also wanted to charge me with profanity for telling her to take her dogs s**t with her. I asked the sheriff if she had any witnesses. When the answer was no, I informed him

it was simply he said - she said' issue, no witnesses. He told me to shut up and I told him I had the right under the

constitution to say any d**n thing I wanted to. He told me he didn't give a d**n about my rights, he could do anything he d**n well pleased. I told him to either get his superior over here or get the hell off my property. He left. Cops at all level in South Carolina are corrupt. So are many of the lawyers. Many of them know their hands are tied. Many of them feel useless, but they cannot do anything about it because of fear of retaliation.

The Clarendon County Hospital was billing my insurance company for some test they had done. My insurance company started asking me some questions about the billings. I requested an itemized billing and they refused to furnish one. I assume that they were

billing the insurance company for procedures that they had not performed. Only in South Carolina can you be denied an itemized bill for services.
