Steelmaster Buildings Steelmaster bolts rusting in only a few years Virginia Beach Virginia
I would like to warn other consumers about steelmaster buildings. A few years ago I purchased a Steelmaster building and was told by the salesman that their bolts were superior against rust to their competitors. After only a few years I had severe rusting, after contacting steelmaster and sending pictures I was told (IT IS WHAT IT IS) and after being bounced around , put off and basically trying to wear you down these people just ignore you instead of trying to resolve the problem. I am sure if they respond at all to this they will try to blame the enviroment even though the building was constructed in the middle of a hay field with no corrisive material near it. To be fair I was pleased with the building panels ,just not the bolts. I am sure they will tell any future customers that they have corrected the problem, but that wont help all the people with rusting buildings. I'm sure they know if they fix their poor quality control for one customer they will be expected to do the same for all and that the best solution is to do nothing. I hope they sleep well at night knowing that they taken peoples hard earned money,it doesnt seem to have bothered them much as of yet!
