Anthony's rebuttal is wrong in that his company charged me double fully two weeks before I cancelled. I only cancelled after repeated requests went unanswered. I emailed him personally with the details and got no answer. The fact is, his company has very shoddy and deceptive practices including double billing (my parents are victims as well of this), unanswered phone calls, ignored emails, and CHANGING THE TEXT OF THE WEBSITE to fit whatever corner they are backed into. Steer clear of this company if you value your time and money!

Samantha, If you would have read the webpages, you would have seen that there is always a setup fee. Read the Promotions page at http://www.straight2you.net/promotions.htm It states right there, in plain black and white, that there are no setup fees for dialup internet access, this excludes ISDN On the ISDN signup page, located at https://secure.straight2you.net/isdn/WebWiz.asp on the 3rd step, when you pick your plan, it specifically states, setup fee, 20.00 As for being charged double, read the terms of service, when you cancel, you are charged a termination fee equal to one month. I am sorry if you have failed to read everything, printed in black and white on our website, but please do not fault us for your own neglect.
