The following is a post by 'AndrewG' of Portland, ME. This was posted earlier today after a positive and constructive conversation took place between us: UPDATE TO MY POSTS REGARDING STUDENT RELATIONS Wednesday July 30, 2008 After being harassed by Louis Victor upon turning down an job offer from Student Relations I have felt that I deserved an apology from either Louis Victor or whoever was in charge of things at Student Relations. I have posted here about my experiences with Louis, and my intentions of exposing the issue if I did not receive an apology. Earlier today, Mr. Martoe contacted me and sincerely extended an apology on behalf of SRI to me for the way I was treated and harassed by Louis at the beginning of the year. I may not agree with the way SRI handles its business or its recruiting process, however, as a professional I accept Mr. Martoe's apology he has extended on behalf of SRI. Accordingly, I sincerely apologize for any comments I have made to/about Mr. Martoe, his character, and/or SRI on this website; as I have also accepted his apology for any comments he has made to me about my character, family, or professional career. I also thank him for the high level of professionalism he was able to exhibit during our phone conversation this morning. I will make no further posts, positive or negative, regarding Student Relations in any way on this or any other website. In addition to this, now that I have my apology, will cease any motion for this issue to be featured in any type of media publication. Also, as long as I am no longer being harassed I will make no further complaints to any law enforcement agency regarding this issue. Finally, for effective clarity, I repeat, that I have accepted Mr. Martoe's apology he has given me and agree to cease communication and part ways neutrally too encourage no further loss of time or prosperity. I wish Mr. Martoe and SRI the best of luck in their future ventures. I will be giving this statement and only this statement to anyone who has already or will be contacting me in regards to this issue.

The above post about how Louis will crank call you is so true. I received a voicemail from him in regards to a resume I sent, but after the call I looked up the company and found this site so I decided I wasn't interested and didn't return his call. He called me again the next day and also sent me a text message (what kind of company sends a text message to a potential employee??) so I decided to call him back. I told him that when someone doesn't return your calls, that usually means they are not interested in the position. His response, "you could have been a man about it and called me back". Now, from reading these reports, I know he likes to hang up on people, so before he got the chance, I hung up on him. He called me right back and left me a voicemail that said, "loser, grow up". He then proceeded to call my cell phone SEVEN (7) more times. SEVEN! I just kept answering and hanging right up on him. He also called my house phone and left a message on the machine that said, "grow up". He called the house FOUR (4) more times, harassing my mother, asking her if she lived at XXX address, etc. I couldn't believe it. BEWARE, he is completely unprofessional. P.S. "Jaime" is also a guy's name.

Mr. Victor periodically serves as a consultant for us in our Human Resources Department assisting with recruitment. Not only does he not recall this conversation, he does not recall speaking to a female applicant from CT, as we have ample representation in CT and have not currently advertised for recruitment. These comments are are outrageous and false. Student Relations, Inc.

I am exremely happy that my report along with many others warned you about this SCAM of a company. Louis Victor and Mike Martoe are SCAM artists and should not be conducting business anywhere. I was subject to their SCAM and had to file complaints with the BBB in NJ and FLA, Consumer Affairs in NJ and FLA and a letter from my Attorney just to get paid a portion of what they owed me. Pathetic.
