Well, I am now informed, thanks to Ms. Nancy Groth. It is obvious that even the customers that frequent Summer Jo's, do not have an understanding of what the company is about (please see the response from Jade, a Josephine County local at Scaminformer), based on her reply.
Jade states that Summer Jo's obviously has plenty of eggs, because they even sell them at the markets.
Ms. Nancy Groth states that "Your husband was right" we don't have enough eggs for the restaurant, we
sell the eggs at farmers markets to supplement the farm income.
As of the date of this posting, 7-18-2011, the following link to the Summer Jo's Website, shows exactly that Ms. Groth and whoever her family are (as stated by Jade), are in fact, misleading the public and according to my husband, may be committing fraud.

My,my, I don't know what is going on with this Nancy Groth, Proprietor person, but she obviously has some issues with telling the truth about things. It will be interesting to see, if now that this is published, about their website using their so called "golden eggs" in the restaurant, what Ms. Groth will lie about now. From our opinion (my husband and I), Ms. Groth is fleecing the public of Josephine
County with misleading information about her operation. An informed individuals look at their website
www.summerjos.com will show that the "family" obviously uses misleading information in many places.
In her crying plea stated on scaminformer, we have never claimed to be a certified organic restaurant, because it would be "price prohibitive and not support the economically challenged Josephine county".
"Oh my God", what a statement. When we were on our trip, we found summer jo's to be the "most expensive restaurant that we chose to dine at. Our reason for dining there in the first place, was based
on the portrayed information on their website. " Ms. Groth, get at clue. The public is just not that
stupid and whoever your fan Jade is, maybe now, his or her's opinion may be changed.
My husband and I, "WILL NOT" be supporting whatever movement Ms. Groth states her operation as.
I think that is Farm to Fork. My husband and I dine out 2 to 3 times a week at finer restaurants in the Portland area, and we will be happy to share our experience about Summer Jo's with all of them.
