I want to warn the public about this website. I homeschool my son and I was interested in a science curriculum that would help motivate him. I somehow found this Aurora Lipper's website; Supercharged Science. First of all, you have to opt in to her newsletter to get any information. Secondly, you are bombarded with tons of emails selling you her 100's and 100's of activities in a very long video crammed with her nonstop talking. Thirdly, you are asked to pay some hefty prices for some hyped up video claims. This includes several hundred $ worth of smaller or fewer activities, or you can opt for the whopping $1000 plus course that is to last you 3 - 5 years. Amidst all the hype I could not for the life of me figure out if these activities were going to include the multiple aspects of science such as invertebrates, plant life, earth and earth structures etc. I emailed some questions to their email address but did not get a response. I sent another email with the same response. I called a couple times before realizing I would never speak to a customer service agent. Instead, I was forced to accept their offer for a "life line" emergency gadget offer of some kind in order to speak to someone, but not about the science curriculum of course. This turned out to be another infomercial. I eventually received an email that stated their emails sometimes get lost in their spam folder. I wonder how they knew I was writing them if my email went to their spam folder? Also, when you call their number, you MUST select #1 to continue in English or you will be disconnected, and you MUST select the next #1 option to speak to a sales rep about their emergency gadget. If you choose to press the # key in order to avoid their offer, you will hear a recording stating "based upon your selection, you are not right for this offer" before being disconnected. This is a scam. The customer support line is a number to their infomercial and nothing more. Pathetic customer support via telephone or email. Buyer beware, they don't care.
