The envelope has a stamp of Canada & did not have a return address. It contained a check for $3300.00 with 'American Data Providers' as the payor with an address of 27 Lebanon Valley Parkway, Lebanon, PA 17042. Check shows the Northwest Farm Credit Services. The cover letter is addressed to me, as is the Check which is also payable to me.

The cover letter describes the position of 'Customer Service Specialists' with the pay scale for the trainee & salary increase after 3 months. It directed me to to to a Moneygram at any location, pose as a customer & send $2750.00 to Josie Welsenta or James Duru both in New Jersey. I am to receive $300 for my services. $150 for the MoneyGram costs, and spend an additional $100 at Home Depot, JC Penney, K-Mart or Sears and evaluate their customer service. Before depositing the check, I'm supposed to call their office.

I checked the name Telequest in Dallas, Texas and found multiple fraud complaints against the owner of that company whose name is not listed on this letter. Being from Dallas area I knew the phone numbers listed were not Dallas area codes. We have to use area codes on all phone calls we make. They also gave a time line that would not allow the check to clear before I would have to pay out the majority of the money. Since I received this through the mail, I plan to go to the Post Master at our local post office and report this fraud.

The thing is, this check looks so real, but it reminds me of the popular internet scam. None of the phone numbers track with the areas represented. Someone could really be burned with this.

This is not TeleQuest Corporation in Dallas, Texas

TeleQuest Corporation in Dallas or any of its other locations has nothing to do with letters or checks that have been sent referring to a mystery shopper program. We have requested copies of such mail piece from other individuals who have received this offer and have forwarded them to the post office and the local police for investigaton. The mail pieces actually are produced in Canada and mailed to individuals in the US. I do not know who Carol Friendly is but she can contact me directly through our listed company contact information and forward such mail piece that she has received. I do not know why Ms. Friendly posted untrue fictional statements about TeleQuest without even attempting to contact the management team here.
