I ordered service from Telscape for a wireless phone on my lifeline discount (a Government Program). After my first contact to sign up I was on hold for 4 hours trying to get someone because the lifeline form they sent me was wrong. When I finallly got approved on my lifeline I never got the phone. It took 3 days of calling at different times of the day  and waiting on hold to get someone on the phone again. It had already been 3 weeks with no phone in the mail but they said to wait 3 more weeks. I cancelled my order with them and went with another company.

Now after about 6 weeks I found out thay they never notified California Lifeline that I cancelled so now I have 2 open phones on lifeline which can get me permanently disqualified from the program. I have been calling for several days to get this straightened out and can't get off of hold. I have called every phone number for every department and chosen every option as well as sending email to the supposed customer support and can't get anyone to answer.

California Lifeline will not let me cancel with them they say I must have the company do it. I don't know what to do but I suggest you do not get caught in this loop with them in the first place.
