I am owed at least $4,000 from eagle warranty. Yes, I too was scammed. I know how to read a contract, and these people that work here act like I am a total idiot. My vehicle needed a new engine since mine was damaged beyond repair. My car sat for about 4 months before getting an authorization # I called, emailed and faxed them all the information they requested. They only approved a used engine with 60,000 k on it, and said it had to have a one year warranty. This was fine I needed my car, they agreed to pay half of the total cost, I knew I was entitled to more but I figured something is better than nothing. I had previous claims, "all denied".  About 5 weeks after purchasing my car for $16,000. (paid cash), I needed new seals and gaskets. When I was at the Lexus dealer the service dept. stayed on the phone for an hour or so, when finally someone named "Josh", (of course no last name.) answered the phone. He said my gaskets weren't covered, I asked why not and he said,"I needed to purchase a gasket warranty for an additional $75.00." This can only be done at the time I bought my warranty that cost over $1,200. I never heard of such a thing! Don't you think I would've paid the additional 75 bucks if this gasket warranty ever existed. Now look at the date on my complaint... My car is sitting at the repair facility that eagle authorized to do the work. They never sent a check for the $2,200 they agreed to pay. The problem is, I paid my portion and they didn't pay  anything.  Now  this company owes many people, in the state of Michigan if someone, (eagle warranty)  knowingly  owes a consumer money and they don't pay, it is considered fraud, and I suggest we all file a complaint with the Attorney General of Pennsylvania. I had a false sense of security by purchasing my warranty, these people need to be stopped! Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all sit in our basement and print fake warranties that cost over a thousand dollars a piece? All profit for this company that preys on the unsuspecting consumer. I am suing them for the full amount I am owed and for storage fees that accrued after Feb., 1, 2009. Wish me luck.
