I signed up with the Fortune 500 Group the first of the Summer. After reviewing the packate I decided it wasn't something I was interested in returned the papers within the alloted time to still get refunded. When I signed up they told me all of it was refundable,I got charged $129. When I returned it they told me that only $100 was refundable because of shipping and handleing. They Charged me $29 dollars to ship me at most 30 sheets of paper in a flat envelope. A normal expense of $4.00.

After they recieved the returned item a customer service rep. contacted me and told me the refund has been processed and I should see it on my next bank statment. I returned it the first of July. July's statment came. No refund. August's statement came. No refund. It is now the end of Septemeber. No refund. Everytime I've called them regarding it I get the same bogus answer of "The refund has been processed." I have NEVER had a company take 3 months to issue a refund.

Not only that, but the reason I returned the product is because they promised me that I would have an advisor assisting me with the web page, and coaching me on how to market. That it would be free and that they woul help me with the tools and a stratagy that would be successful to get my company started, then later on I could advance. The very first conversation with the advisor, all he did was ask me how much I have available on my credit cards, then tried to get me to $500 dollars worth of unsecured web advertising. He offered no advice or assistance with a proposal that would meet my situation. All things I was told I would get when perchasing their prouct. The advisors persuasion to try to get me to buy more "You have to spend money to make money."

All the red flags are there with The Fortune 500 Group and a scam. I saw them from the begining and immediatly canceled by the time allowed to ensure my money back, and they are still incrediably dishonest.

REFUND POLICY

Our refund policy at the Fortune 500 Group is to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. We understand that sometimes customers change their minds or their situation changes and thus, request a refund. Once a refund is requested and all applicable procedures are met, a refund is immediately issued. If there is a delay in a refund, it is stereotypically delayed by the credit card company posting it to the consumers account. Again, it is our goal to meet and exceed every customers expectations.

I was also told when purchasing their services that they were accredited by the BBB. I just researched that and they are not. For other complaints see the link. http://central-northern-western-arizona.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=30&bbb=1126&firm=97022470
