All I can say is THANK GOD I googled this place for more information and saw that another person had the same exact experience. After trying for months to find a home for a Senior Cat that was left behind by someone I was surprised that The Tabby House would take him. There were many red flags from the cery start with no questions about the Cat! It all revolved around the money and how soon I could come up with it and the conversations were all via text and she was going to meet me on the side of the road to collect 'the cat'.
I can tell you without a doubt this is RIP OFF SCAM. God only knows what happens to any poor cat this lady picks up. I have a strong feeling they are dropped off somewhere before she even gets back to her house. PLEASE do not fall for her story about having to discuss with someone how much they will accept. None of it made sense. Theres no website, no social media, no physical location. I swear to you its a scam for money.
I NEVER have filed any sort of complaint but I am an animal lover, esspecially cats so if I can save someones furry four legged friend I had to post this.

true legit rescues welcome visitation, if you love you cat ask to visit the foster or location of cat.this place is full of red flags, of course they will tell you anything you want to hear, ask them to see your cat and let me know what happens. I track and expose rescue scams which is trendy these days, more scammers than legit rescues. beware!

Cindy, I had a similar experience with a kitty the neighbors moved away and left in the cold of winter. The lady who took the cat said her brother in law was a vet and she would have this kitty neutered then find a home. I paid her $100.00 and even left her my cat carrier with the kitty. When I texted her for updates on the kitty, she would respond via text with very short words like "doing fine." I could never get her to tell me the vets name.
I'm still trying to find out how to get in touch with them for an update. If you have her contact info.' please post it. I want to make sure the kitty is fine and happy.
Thanks
Cindy

It's so sad to see these reports on a lovely lady that helped me. I ha.d a twenty year old cat in renal failure my husband was sick couldn't take care of it anymore. I contacted the tabby house I dropped off my cat at the vet office where I met the vet and her for time. She was wonderful and caring I still get updates on my kitty who thanks to them and the vet care is still alive. It's slander that you are saying and no true. If you thougt it want right why did you drop your cat off it's you that are a scammer trying to write a report not true why don't you tell people your name and cats name so they can defend themselves. Your a coward I. Totally support this rescue always will don't lie and say there were no questions asked she asks plenty via phone and when you meet her you know it the cats are all in foster thank god they don't give out there address to crazies like yourself
