Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY SEEKERS BEWARE! Of a Full-Page ad that has been running in various Opportunity Magazines that I've been aware of since 1997. I was introduce by a friend about these money-making sources and he had seen this particular Ad many years prior to 1997. Unfortunately the two of us were naive to the point that we mistakely thought longevity meant credibility.

Mr. Zaken states in his Full-Page Ad that he's offering you a position as his personal associate in what he calls a fascinating and pecurliar profitable business by using his technique to accumulate rapid and substantial wealth. He says that this can be done all from your own home by just investing 2-6 hours a week and not having to spend a dime out of your pocket.

But just in case you're skeptical he tells you he will send you all the information free of charge for 31 days if you are interested in becoming independent and your own boss to just send him a $10.00 post-dated check. This will allow you to weigh and analyze the whole proposition, then and only if you're excited about his Wealth-Building-Opportunity he will guide you step-by-step like partners towards one goal only...to bring in Profits.

So at this point I sent for this great opportunity and received what I thought would be the total package which turned out to be his 23 page (Confidential Report on How To Use The Power of My Wealth-Building Technique And My Personal Association to Make $4,280 each month or Probably Much More.) Mr. Zakens report was loaded with promises enough to keep you salivated to want to know more. But on the first page I'd realize that he had conventiently left out the hidden cost to get this bussiness started it would cost you $148.00+tax for what he called his Risk-Free Inspection Request with a full No-Risk, Double Money Back Guarantee.

Now the (Confidential Report) of course read like the chance of a lifetime, that this was being offered to only the first 50 respondents to participate in a one-month-marketing test. You must agree to read the plan, work with him, give him your honest opinion of its usefulness, disclose precisely how much money it earned you, and agree to allow him to use your statement as a testimonial. Also would be included an $89 bonus that would show you how to earn up to $80,000 a year in addition of what you'd earn in working with him. This would be his compimentary gift just in case you weren't one of the 50 respondents it was only fair since you had given him your time and attention. You would be entitled to the bonus he said to soften your dissppointment, and of course your un-cashed check in return. Needless to say I never saw an $89 bonus.

Mr. Zaken supposely the owner of a company (QUICK-SELL-LIQUIDATORS) was offering you the job of a (Closeout Merchandise Finder) with his simple instructions all you would do is call, write, fax, or e-mail manufacturers, wholesalers, and other suppliers. This was a huge untapped market with risk of never having to spend any of you own money, you'd receive free gifts all year long beause this was one of the perks of the business, never sell , stock, or advertise anything you'd be gathering leads with the sources he'd direct and show you where to find. He would show you how to make Free Long Distance Calls all over the Country and never have a cent charged to your telephone bill. The most important and the biggest offer from Mr. Zaken was that he repeatly stated all through the manual that as his partner once he buys and closes the deal with the Seller he'd send you 50% of the Profits. He said his half is money he wouldn't have made if it weren't for my efforts.

Well after sending for the 148.00+tax Risk-Free Inspection Request which was an 89 page manual I guess symbolic for the $89 bonus gift I never received "Lol." I read it from cover to cover but the Clencher was that 50% Profits was no where to be found, Free Long Distance Calls ,or Free Perks. I immediatly e-mail Mr.Nick Lasorsa (General Manager) of QUICK -SELL-LIQUIDATORS who had sent me my welcome aboard letter asking him to direct me to the free call source. At that time I hadn't even realized the compensation issue. I must say the manual was very well written of course making Mr. Zaken appear to be an expert in the exciting field of Liquidation that you didn't grasp all the important facts. Well any way Mr. Lasorsa immediatly replied by directing me the 800AT&T Directory, www.thomasregister, Directory of US Importers., and to shop around for the cheapest Long Distance Company. Huh? What happen to the never incurring a long distance bill? At this point I started thinking about all the slick deceptive ploys thats going on with this company so I send another e-mail both addressed to Nick Lasorsa and Mr. Zakens asking for subtantiation of company statistics of growth, current business size, financial stability, and a bona-fide Business Contractual Agreement. Needless to say I was ignored. After a reasonable amount of time, I faxed the two of them requesting a refund of all monies paid and that I didnt want to hear that I hadn't tried the business for 31 days because, it was crazy that he had the nerver to think I was going to work for nothing. I also told him that I would do everything in my power to expose his shrewed shoddy business tactics.

Although, I did immediatly receive my refund things still have not sat well with me. I was in the process of ordering a Voice-mail box, sending to him for Letterheads, Envelopes, Business Cards and his Manufactures Directory all at the tune of $300.00. He did say that the directory wasn't mandatory but for a professional business appearance the Stationary was needed. I feel that I have been Ripped-Off wasted time, energy and hope of being part of a Liquidation business and insulted that he prosposed such a scheming scam. I could have posibably ruin my reputation had I started contacting these manufactures, wholesalers, and suppliers. Just think how scandalous that could have been. My concern is mainly for the individuals that did'nt get there money back because they're to embarrased or not aware of how to approach a situation like this. These Business Opportunities need to be put out of operation because they can jepordize families, self esteem, trust and even suicide for some. Mr. Zakens has been running this Full-Page Ad for years and banks on people just chalking this up as a loss or like my friend who has order the full package but has tossed it to the side and never read it. If this information doesn't put Mr. Zakens out of business at the least maybe it will decrease is sales because the information given here he charges for.

By the way Mr. Zakens operates under 6-7 addresses including faxes, e-mails, and ordering numbers. I wonder why?

Any responses will be welcomed. Would love to hear if someone else has had an experience with this company.

Like many others, I've received many business opportunity offers in the mail. I recently (June, 2002) received an offer from the Zaken Co. regarding the "liquidation business opportunity" described by other respondents on your website. I was ready to send a check for $148 + $16 shipping to give this program a try. I am so glad I found this information before mailing the check!! Thank you for your comments and reports --I saved myself the mess some of you have gone through! This website should become one of the most (if not the most) important sites on the internet for serving as a clearinghouse regarding home business opportunity promotions.

I just want the thank all of those person who contributed to this "Rip-Off Report" on "The Zaken Company". I just received my free confidential report on..."How To Use The Power of My Wealth-Building Technique" from The Zaken Company. Well, the first sign of fraud for me was the picture of the person's face/eye glasses/smile on the report. Second, I thought I had better search the web for this so called company because I figure If someone collects enough $148+$16 postage checks from enough people, that person is getting rich on just that. Besides I always check with the Better Business Bureau prior to sending any money to any income opportunity. This guy goes to great extents to convience the readers of his report that he is real. I would love to know the result of the finding and action taken if the person is truely ripping people off with a money scam.
