This company called me in October of 2012 wanting to sell my timeshare.  I was told the "fair market" value of my timeshare was $7200 - $9000.  I was asked to pay $995 for them to list my timeshare and if it didn't sell, they would buy my timeshare for the fair marked value after the 10 months was up and it hadn't sold.  Its been over 12 weeks now and I have received an offer.  The receptionist says it will take 12 weeks or longer.  This is a scam.  They offer a price of less than $100 to buy it.

Timeshare Resale Source & Royal Elite Timeshare Scam

Timeshare Resale Source contacted me with all the right answers. They said my Royal Elite timeshare would be easy to sell and it would be sold 30-60 days, but no way it would last over 90 days. James made sure I would be able to answer my phone for all the offers. I would have to be able to say yeah or nah on the offers. It's been over 3 months and I have not received one offer nor have I heard from James to discuss any issues. This company is a joke and I warn everyone to stay clear. They got $1,200 out of me and I am sure they will try to get more out of you

Resale timeshare can be worth as low as $1. If a company says they have buyers for your timeshare at high prices let them take their AGREED commission out of the sale proceeds. No sale no money.

Timeshare Resale Source & Royal Elite Timeshare Scam

I paid Timeshare Resale Source $1000 to sell my Royal Elite timeshare. They sent me paperwork that listed a different timeshare than mine. I asked for corrected paperwork and they resent the same misinformation. I have not heard from them and still don't have the correct paperwork. I called today to get a refund and they absolutely refused. It is their company policy "no refunds". They use the excuse that they are paying the cost to advertise and they will sell it eventually. From some of these other comments regarding this company it sounds like this could go on for years and I'm not getting my $1000 back. I've called American Express and they cannot guarantee that they can get me my money back. However they will try. Do not do business with this company. Definitely a scam!!
