Wow, This does not describe my experience. I went to "Together" on a reccomendation from a good friend (I asked how he met his wife). I met 8-10 wonderful women before meeting the one I eventually married. Years later, I talked my Best Man into joining (Boy, did I have to twist his arm), and he wound up meeting and marrying his wife through "Together." I found them to be easy to work with, and if they had any fault, it was that they set me up with too many introductions. Honestly, I think the key to making "Together" work is simply to follow their format. If they are not providing the service you want, just let them know, and I am sure they would be willing to accomodate. Why would they intentionally want to have dissatisfied customers? Remember, all that "Together" provides is an introduction to another eligible Bachelor/Bachelorette...Be flexible, and considerate of the people you are meeting. Worst case???? You might find yourself going out with a bunch of really great people. Best Case??? You might find your soul mate. P.S. One more thing....Lose the attitude, and people might like you better. Wes

As they said they would. I've been contacted once since I filed this and that was NOT fora match. These people are LIARS and publically say they want to FIX things but do NOT attempt to provide the service they PROMISE. STILL WAITING!!!!

I signed up with the one here in Houston and what a waste. I was ripped out of $1500. Their service was overpriced, useless, and the men they tried to set me up with were: 1 had just got divorced, (like I really want someone on the rebound) 1 was a pot headed musician ( even though I said, NO MUSICIANS) 1 was Hispanic ( I DON'T DATE OUT OF MY RACE, I AM CAUCASION) The company also gave my name and number to phone sales soliciters that bothered me all the time. They swore up and down they would give me a partial refund for cancellation and when I showd up at their office, the director went and hid in his car and locked the doors. I will never waste another penny on some crap like this. I think after all this hassle I would rather be single.

First of all, it's confusing as to which office and service I even joined. The web site was The Right One. The guy on the phone who started the high pressure sales pitch identified himself as working for The Right One. I signed a contract with Together Dating in their Austin office. I was serviced out of Dallas AND Austin, although no match from Dallas EVER returned a phone call. I live in Waco, so it shouldn't be that hard to find my information. I ended services with the Dallas office because Jennifer repeatedly failed to return phone calls as promised, and was unwilling to listen to my complaints. She said she was under no contractual obligation to even match me, so I told her not to bother if she was going to be so hostile and unprofessional (why would I want someone hostile finding romantic matches for me?) I've had several discussions with several people during the course of this fiasco(who no longer work there). Each of them promised that they alone would be handling my services, but eventually pawned me off on someone ultimately unfamiliar with my criteria (ergo repeatedly getting matches with more children than I requested or ignoring my request to not be matched with obese women). I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau based on the fact that it appears there is no good faith effort to match me with people that I described in the criteria. It also appears that they simply throw matches at me with complete disregard as to whether the match is willing to have a long distance relationship. This probably explains why FAR more than half of the women simply never returned phone calls or polite messages introducing myself. It's simple, if you oversold the product and can't deliver matches that meet my criteria and return phone calls, you owe it to me to give me a refund. No office completely takes responsibility for honoring the contract, and I've been bounced around to all sorts of girls who match me without reading my criteria. Since filing the BBB complaint, I've been contacted. The person who contacted me has made the same promises to "fix" things, but that's been over a week ago and I've not heard back.
