On 4th September 2015 my computer upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10, i was then not able to access the internet, my emails etc, i am not computer literate, i telephoned Toshiba Support as, my laptop is a toshiba, i spoke to 2 different guys, they both regularly kept asking me for my passwords, they charged me £131.24 for "6months support", and offered me a deal if i paid an extra £20 they would cover me for 12months, i declined.
Online they got my computer sorted, then about 2weeks later i saw with my own eyes my computer was being hacked.
When i was reading something on the internet, the pointer on my screen was moving about as, if by itself, when i tried to shut my computer down it kept saying, someone else is using your computer, they need to go back and save their work or it will be lost, then the pages kept freezing on my screen, this security page kept popping up on my screen, then an what looked like an ad popped up on my screen, it said Epson, it asked me if it could come through my firewall, i clicked on yes as i didnt know what it was until much later in the day, plus other problems,
I contacted my main support company Cotec, they checked my computer Online, told me yes my computer had been Hacked, there were Viruses/Trojans and was badly infected, luckily they sorted it all out for me.
I never had any problems like this before, i signed up with Toshiba Support!! i want my money back, as that was my Disablity Benefits!
