Hi,

I have been in a delivery business with a company in Newark, CA since 2009 and when I started doing deliveries for them I was told by their Purchasing manager, that the average pay per stop would be $33 per stop and 13 stops daily would generate an income of $429 a day.

But ever since I have been doing deliveries for this company the pay was always less than what I was promised. I have talked to the purchasing manager and the Operations Manager, but now both of them are telling me that they can't do anything about the pay and I have to do the deliveries since the routes are already been assigned to me. Now that when I am asking how much I will be getting paid for the deliveries the company is telling me that they don't know who much they will charge the customer and thus I don't have any idea how much I will get paid for delivery.

I have been doing deliveries for this company since 2009 having faith that I will be paid fairly, correctly and promptly, but they have never kept their promises and always take money out from my check telling me it's for insurance, brokerage fee's and even claims when I have all the paperwork that there were no claims.

I will very much appreciate your help in this matter.

Thank you,

They suck.  It's a big racket.  The $33/stop they told you that you were going to get is probably what they get, though they will tell you that that is what the job pays, what they don't tell you is now you get a percentage of that.  Of course don't forget about your Occupational, Accidental, and Cargo Insurance payments, plus the cell phone and plan, plus your Commercial Insurance Policy, plus your business license, plus your Motor carrier Permit, plus the TSA/STA stuff, plus, plus, plus...  Take what you have, and find another company to hook up with.  You will end up saving money.
