I ordered the Instyler to try for 30 days for $14.99. During that time, I used the Instyler and found it did not work well, burned my hair (the smell and smoke were horrible) and worst of all, that the product shorted out the electrical outlet causing the power to "brown out" which I thought was very dangerous. I sent the product back and got replacements, also to try for 30 days or so the guy on the phone said.

Well, I never was billed for this item. I checked my bank account and noticed that there were never any debits taken out for the Instyler, which I thought was odd, so I called the company and told them that I had never used the new Instylers and I wanted to send them back as I had never been billed for them, hadn't used them and didn't want them. Well, the customer service representatives (when you could get them on the phone as I had waited for 30 minutes or more to try to speak with someone) were very rude. They were always men who tried to put the pressure on you to keep the product or to let you know that oh well, you are just out of luck . They did not seem to care about my concerns at all.

Long story short, they turned my account over to a collections agency without ever trying to contact me to bill me for the item. They say my credit card was declined which is a lie because I pay my bills and my card was good. They then gave me the number to their collection agency who were very rude, could barely speak English well enough to communicate with at all and did not want to give me their address to write to them.

I would never deal with this company again. If the charge is placed on my credit report, I will file a lawsuit despite their "arbitration agreement" which their rude representative told me they had and I should have read (which I did read but does not apply to me because I never used the second Instylers they sent).

If a company has to remind you of their "arbitration agreement" and that you "can't sue them" well then they are unethical and there is a reason they want to protect themselves so badly. Don't do business with this company.
