Triad Financial Corporation ripoff fraudlent billing in collections before first payment due Huntington Beach California
Triad Financial Corporation began calling (at least 25 times) before my first payment was even due. I spoke to the representative who said they had not received a payment and wanted to know when it would be going out. I told him it wasn't even due until the 4th of each month(it was about the 23rd of the currentmnth.
They insisted that the payment was past due. I got no reply as to how I could be past due on a brand new car loan that wasn't due for another week or more. To make matters worse, I sent the payment in (a check)and they took 6 days to cash the check. A man called to ask when I was going to mail in the payment and if I would be mailing both of them.
I told I had sent in the payment and they had cashed it. He said he had no record of a payment. I told him I had proof because I had the cancelled check. He asked If I could fax him a copy which I did.
He called the next day and said he did get the fax and wanted to know when I would be sending out the next payment. I thought he was kidding and he said he change the records to show a payment had been made but now I was due for the next payment even though it was still the same month. Since that Time I have been dunned days, nights, week-ends, Sundays, you name it. Yet no payment has been missed or late. All payments sent to this company go to a third party collection source, regardless of the address on their return envelopes.
