Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Contacted the Contractors Association. After a consultation with a former president of the association, we were referred to Tom Russo @ Trinity Construction. Comes across as a sincere business man who "listens". Got me with his phone message- "Make it a good day with the Lord". My father was forced to "spend down" assets in order to care for his wife, my mom who's health was declining. Mr. Russo gave us an estimate which happened to be the same amount as our budget. We had never dealt with remodeling and trusted him mainly because he was referred from the association. Very poor workmanship. When discussed, he would assure you he would have it corrected. Workers came and went, work still below par! addressed, always reassured and never "corrected" the CORRECT way! During remodel, he asks if you will write a letter of recommendation for him. He gets you BEFORE you are not at all happy! Here are a few of Mr. Russo's responses to issues (I am almost embarrassed to post, showing how nieve I was to his BS) : Why is the new carpet on stairs frayed at the edges?

It's the fault of the installer of the previous carpet. The way "they" did it, caused him to have to glue it rather than nail. This causes the edges unable to be finished out. Hence the frayed edges on every stair! Why does the new window in the bath slide off the track when you open or close it. Because of the type of window he had to purchase within our budget! Why does the new cabinets in master bath vanity not line up, open @ opposite sides, and the inside "wood" that separates the drawers & cabinets, fall when you open & close them?

He will fix it....

It's been 3 years: our tile in bath is falling off wall exposing sheet rock, the wood floor installed is buckling/coming up, Vanity falling apart, carpet pitiful, thresholds came off, paint on walls very poor workmanship. Paint!? Stairs installed on patio left raw wood/untreated or painted. Our existing nice patio, left with clumps of cement and in yard, cemented in, left over PVC pipe. His trucks bent fence and they wired it back together, etc., etc. He quit taking nor returning calls. I have researched options. Have been informed we have 9 years & 9 months to take legal action. Lined up, waiting to see what else falls apart. Tried going through BBB who attempted to contact and settle with Mr. Russo to no avail. Very sad to go through this and realize these people who represent themselves as professional & caring are actually & knowingly ripping you off! Doing so to a man who was using his only retirement to help his wife of 55 yrs. After owning his own business for 35+ years and working honestly and often "helping" his customers who need it.

Shame on you, Mr. Russo
