Turn Key Marine over charging for parts, service, not install parts charged for Ripoff Marathon Florida
My boat was damaged at this marina during hurricane Wilma. The estimate to repair was $4,126.00 and agreed to by the insurance adjustor. After 4 months of waiting the boat was finally repaired. I was called to pick up the boat. When I arrived to pick it up I was given a bill for $8,560.00 with no explination except pay or no boat. I told them I would submit the bill to the ins company and if they paid fine but I would pay the diffrece from the $4,126.00 that I had checks for.
They said we don't care if you get a dime. Pay the bill or the boat can be sold to collect. This is a marina that I bought the boat from along with 3 sets of two engines and stored there for five years prior. Always prepaid and suspected they did not do the work they charged for and now I know they didn't. They charged for spark plugs that were not changed, charged for a lower cowl that was not installed. Charged for impellers that were not changed. This is a dishonest operation and should be avoided at all cost.
