Tyler listed a 2001 Subaru Outback on craiglist for sale with 149,000 miles.
My son purchased the vehicle from him hoping for a reliable vehicle to get to work and school
Tyler provided a receipt showing that the Subaru had the Head gaskets, timing belts all replaced in December of 2016, the work done at RetroRoo in Northglenn Colorado.
Approxiamately 20 minutes into our drive home the vehicle started spraying coolant out of the resorvoir and over heating.
We had the car towed to our mechanic and found that the gaskets had NOT been replaced and the receipt was a forgery. Confirmed by calling the shop.
Next I ran a car fax and found the vehicle actually had 211000 miles on it and it was a 2000 not 2001. More lies.
Obviously Tyler is avoiding us at all costs and we now know why he wouldnt meet us at this house or allow a ride home after he sold the car to us as well.
My advice is do not have anything to do with this liar and cheat.
