I JUST PURCHASED A R/C NITRO TRUCK FROM ULTIMATE HOBBIES IN ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIA I SPENT AROUND $450.00 IN TOTAL.

I STOPPED IN ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK AND PURCHASED A K&N FILTER FOR THE MOTOR I ALSO PURCHASED THERE.

WELL WHEN I GOT HOME THE FILTER WAS DEFORMED ON THE BOTTOM AND WOULD NOT ALOWE THE FOAM SOCK THAT CAME WITH THE FILTER TO WORK PROPERLY THE PACKAGE IN WHICH THE FILTER WAS PURCHASED IN WAS A PLASTIC BAG WITH A PAPER LABLE THAT WAS NOT A K&N TAG.

WELL, IN THE RUSH TO GET BACK TO THE STORE WICH IS A 30 MIN RIDE I LOST THE PAPER LABLE SOME WHERE IN THE TRUCK.

THE DEFECT WAS VERY CLEAR TO THE EYE, I WANTED TO GET A REFUND.

I WAS GOING TO SHOP AROUND SOME MORE TO SEE WHAT WAS OUT IN THE MARKET .

I LEFT THE FILTER WITH THE GIRL AT THE COUNTER AND PROCEDED TO SHOP SOME MORE WHEN I RETURUNED TO THE COUNTER SHE TOLD ME THAT WITHOUT THE LABLE THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME A 15% RESTOCKING FEE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS CLEARLY A DEFECTIVE PART NOW THIS WAS WHERE I JUST SPENT AROUND $450.00 THE WEEK BEFORE.

THE GIRL APOLGIZED I COULD TELL SHE FELT THE SAME AS I DID SHE SAID THE MANAGER MADE THE CALL , WELL AT THAT POINT I TOLD THE GIRL I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSWHERE . THEN WHEN I GOT BACK TO MY TRUCK I FOUND THE TAG IN THE DOOR SO WITH BAG&TAG IN HAND I WENT BACK IN TO THE STORE AND RECEVE THE REFUND.

NOW ASK YOUR SELF WOULD YOU DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM?

THE PART WAS AROUND $10.00 THE AMOUNT WOULD HAVE BEEN $1.50

FOR THE RESTOCKING FEE I GUESS I WASENT WORTH THE $1.50 TO THEM

How will they get credit for this thing from their supplier without the tag that YOU lost. Next time, as with any purchase, be a little organized and keep your receipt and packaging intact. Just in case you need to return it. Also try spellcheck, typo's dont make ya' look intelligent.
