Uniway Of Savannah Uniway of Savannah is a Rip Off Savannah Georgia
I became a member of Uniway of Savannah a couple of years ago after being contacted by phone by their telemarketers several times and after being promised gifts and a chance to win something. Everything sounded good. I even agreed to make monthly payments because I felt I would save a lot.
I lived more than an hour away and it took me a little while to get back there. I had a long list of items and copies of ads of items I wanted to check on. Since it was my first time there after the presentation, I asked for help in location certain catalogs. No one wanted to help.
I finally found want I wanted. Most of the items I wanted to look at, they didn't have. Out of all of the ones I did find information on, after I added in the shipping charges, I couldn't find a single item that I would have saved money on. I looked at furniture, appliances, electronics, jewelry, clothing and home repair items. I did a lot of research before I went.
I tried to cancel the membership but could not, so we stopped making the monthly payments. Luckily, everything was in my ex-husband's name and due to his previous divorce, he already had bad credit. We got 2-3 phone calls a day and about 1 letter per week.
I do not recommend Uniway. They make save you money in some instances, but I sure could not find an instance in my case.
