Jumpers are hourly hence you stated that you didn't get hours so you would not be paid for time you don't work. Sorry to burst that bubble also there is a lot of paperwork you have to fill out and if it is not completed properly or you somehow fail a criminal background check you don't get hours. Also the job you applied for is based on demand you may go in and do everything then they don't need you. Shipping is all prediction based at peak season. It's cheaper for them to pay to run everything and over hire people than it is to pay OT to drivers or to pay grievances. So in reality UPS did nothing wrong but say you got the job and then fail to communicate about hours or clerical errors. The rest are false demands that would get thrown out by judges and labor boards.

....you write "Another thing it really pisses me off when the HR is supposed to be a pro and he's out in the hall way on the phone with his co workers using every curse word known to man." So cursing in public is indicative of non-professionals? Yet you use a curse word to make you point? As the previous poster said, look in your own backyard for solving the problem before you go any further....

I take pride in the company I have worked for for the past twenty nine years and I am certainly happy that you were a temporary employee of UPS. We really don't need anymore bad empoyees and it appears that you fit that category well. All that trash you talked about the HR guy and publishing his phone number may bring you some kind of anger release issue that you have, but look at the implied language you were spouting off with! Try cleaning up your backyard before you trash talk UPS and it's many good employees. Do us a favour, go work for the Post Office or Fed-ex. It will only improve our business.
