Urban Active Colerain Ohio Misrepresentation of Products or Services after Contractual Agreement Cincinnati, Ohio
Recently purchased new membership at the Colerain Ohio gym. When I signed up I had taken a tour and thought that they had classes, etc. However, after signing the initial agreement, I found out that they are not offering classes at this location and that others are not having to pay extra for the services that I am paying extra for. I found out that the programs offered are in the existing contract for $14.95!
I would suggest that you look elsewhere because after signing the contract, I wanted to attend a class and they are now requiring that I bring someone to the class as opposed to being included in my membership!
Unprofessional, John and his associates, I would definitely look to another Fitness Center. With these types of tactics, it won't be open much longer...

I have to say that despite all the complaints on this website about Urban Active's contracts, I have never had a problem with them. If you take to the time to read the contract you can see exactly what you're paying for. I'm not a lawyer and I was able to sit down for ten minutes and figure it all out.
I don't agree with some of the additional fees that are in the contract but it still turns out to be a pretty affordable deal. It seems to me that you assumed they offered classes at this location even though no one actually said they did; I dont think that qualifies as a rip off

By the way, as an update, contact the Attorney General's Office because they are looking into other complaints by this company! My contract was for $14.95 because that is ALL the membership is worth since they ended their class offerings and other services at this particular location!
