They started billing me in June and now it's August. I did get them to credit the $9.99 back to my phone co, and the phone co took the charges off, but why should I have the hassle??
In July, I was told a Jane H... was the person who signed up, and they gave me the email
[email protected] like I was supposed to track this person down and get things fixed! Looks like things are corrected with my August bill, but how can they charge stuff to a phone number without calling the number to verify the charge?
At least I picked up on it quickly. I worry about my older friends and relatives who might be taken advantage of by companies like this.
