US Credit Find, Inc. Billed me for unsolicited services Nationwide
Last month when I received our phone bill, I noticed the bill amount due had doubled. Upon closely checking the bill, I found that we were being billed for three phone-related services that we had not signed up for. One was a long-distance service, another a voice-mail account and finally a credit repair service (US Credit Find, Inc.)
The phone company advised they were not responsible for these charges and I would have to contact the individual companies involved. All three companies were co-operative to a point and I was able to obtain information regarding how these accounts were opened using our phone number. It soon became apparent that some person had used our phone number to obtain these services, as all three companies gave me the name of the person who opened the accounts.
A police report has been filed and I am in the process of getting information necessary to file a warrant. That's where I run into a problem with US Credit, Inc. I have called them numerous times and just cannot get them to call me back. Have gone to their website but there is no way to contact them online.
While I cannot blame them for the charges to our phone, which by the way they have credited, I am highly suspicious of a company that does not return phone calls or have an email address on their website.
