Where do we start

Oct 2006 a bag of something fell off a pick up truck in front of me.

I called highway patrol and they said nothing needed just file with insurance company. Which we took the car to the dealership until we decided what to do. Two days later (this happened on a Saturday) we called and asked some questions we were told that this claim is comprehensive and would not affect our premium...so we filled our claim.

One thing we found out is USAA was supposed to have offered us something like perferred repair...which only means that if we use who they want us to they negiotiate all the problems. This was not offered so we suffered. It took almost two months...they car was taken to different shops than to the Saturn dealership which the paperwork did not authorize this....nothing in small writting...we were told to pick it up with the brakes not working....and USAA sat on their BUTTS.

We contacted them several times, the car went back to Saturn of Charleston probably 5 times in 2 months.....once giving back to us with a strut out, knuckle out and they said they did an alignement with the car in this condition.....another time there is a rattle they did not attach the radiator stroudt (spelling) and something this....over and over...talked to Kevin Omalley at USAA a few times and after we contacted customer relations he supposedly was to help....which we never heard from him again. Filled a complaint with the BBB and USAA's response was "we did everything we are to do". I have talked with Rose from Customer Relations and sent a letter to the President Bob Davis and for months have not received a reply as she said we would.

Oh did we say USAA Cancelled our rental car without even calling us to find out this was still going on.....we did not use our 60 days rental car but they "thought" the car was finished. Way to serve our MILITARY USAA BE PROUD OF YOURSELF.

CRAPPY car insurance...

Oh and now they almost double our car premium....no tickets, great credit, no late payments just the "comprehensive" claim.
