I also had the problem with Tellis. I have been issued a credit on the account. Do not pay these people, keep fighting. This is nothing more than a scam. I also understand the other authors point of being responsible for what is on your computer, but these companies need to stop taking advantage of viruses, spyware, and dialers. They know that is why this is happening, but instead of helping a consumer, they just keep charging and keep harassing because they get the money. I have numerous antivirus and spyware and still did not know about it until the bill came. This is not all the consumers faults for not taking better care of their computer, it's also the companies faults for letting international calls be made via a computer. They should know just as well as we should that with the amount of viruses and spyware going around, that the majority of these calls are bogus. The telephone numbers that I allegedly dialed are the exact same as so many others posted on here. You would think that these companies would put a block to these numbers to help out the consumers or issue a statement warning them against fraud, but no, they just keep on charging.

I just wanted to respond to this report. The phone companies are not responsible for providing internet security on your personal property, nor are they responsible for your negligence. Be careful what you view on the internet cause if it states its free it usually isnt. only YOU can be held accountable for what you do on your computer, not the companies that you are blaming.
