VIP TRAVEL RESERVATIONS, INC Owner: Julie Johnson McCollum Scammed Port Orange, Florida
VIP is dishonest and they should be arrested. Hopefully they will be if people like me ban together! VIP uses many scamming techniques such as not answering their phones and making it impossible to reach them except over a period of weeks through regular snail mail. The scam they used on me was to request me to send potential cruise dates. I sent the dates three separate times, and lots of them. Each time, VIP would Slowwwwly respond by mail that none of the dates would work! They would then say, "send more dates." Well, their technique was to wait until those dates approached therby spreading out this entire process long enough to evnetually say, "Sorry, your offer is expired." I have complained to the BBB, the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services, The florida AG office and am in the process of finding an attorney and contacting interested media. Florida should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this type criminal to exist in their lovely state. People need to act, cohesively, to fight this group. I have reserached this group as being owned by a Julie Johnson McCollum of, looks like, Daytona. If anyone knows more information please post it. I have an open complaint with the FTC and the Dept of Ag and Consumer Services in Florida (under which VIP is licensed) is investigating them. I have a feeling this scam may be well known and even supported by certain Floridian organizations, just a hunch.

We answer our phones during the business hours of 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Eastern time. Our hours are on the greeting. We are a very busy company and I am sorry if you were not able to get through. The first message you hear when you call in says to press x6 to speak to a rep, I'm sorry if you missed that option. The reason that we are licensed and in business is because we are not a scam. VIP Travel Reservations is a full service travel agency certified/registered with ARC, IATAN, CLIA, ASTA, The State of Florida and the City of Port Orange. Since you aimed your complaint directly at Julie McCollum I would also like to add the Julie McCollum is not only a wonderful and caring boss, but a very generous community member. Julie is always donating to local charities, Hospice, Cancer foundations, sponsoring and mentoring the local high school children as well as sponsoring local teams so they can play. She also donates our travel vouchers to be used for fundraising. VIP travels hundreds of happy customers every month. Please contact me to resolve this matter.
