I have been with Vision Direct with for many years, I did not want to switch companies, but money is tight and I found lenses that would save $20. I requested a price match and they refuse to do it. They are giving me a run around on the reason why. They give terms and conditions of how to qualify for a price match, which are as follows:

Competitor must comply with all

applicable laws and regulations and does not include

membership clubs. 

Lowest price guarantee is for online
sites only and not for brick-and-mortar stores. 
Lowest price guarantee is for contact
lenses only. 
Price comparison must be between the
exact same products and is based on the total price
(including shipping charges, taxes, and other charges that
may apply). 
Competitor's price must be current at
the time of request and in stock and must not be based on a
limited time sale price or include any rebates. 
If competitor's price is based on a
coupon or promotional code, limited or otherwise, such
coupon or code must be valid at time of purchase. 
This offer is non-transferable and may
not be combined with other special offers or discounts. 
Lowest price guarantee claims must be
made within 7 days from purchase date. 
Lowest price guarantee does not apply
to international orders or specialty lenses including: Rigid
Gas Permeable Lenses, Vial Lenses, Halloween/Theatrical
Lenses or Lenses already labeled ‘Lowest Price’ . 
This offer subject to expire without
notice. 
Void where prohibited by law. 
 
They are claiming the reason is because the company does not follow the same policies and procedures as Vision Direct does. Does ANY Company copy another's business plan? It is a bogus reason, they just dont want to price match. And when asked what policy or procedure this other company does not follow, they refuse to tell me!! 
Secondly, it is not in the terms and conditions that the other company must follow the same policies and procedures. IT IS NOT IN THE TERMS, the reason they are giving me is not in the terms and conditions. I told them this and they still refuse. Where in the terms does it say the other company must comply with Vision Direct's policies and procedures? It doesn't!. That would be simply impossible, NO COMPANY has the same business plan. I would know.Then they tried saying, "well it has to follow laws and regulations." Which the other company does!!! 
They lost a long time, good customer. CROOKS!!
