Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

A person named Linda called our house asking me if I was still interested in selling my timeshare.  We chatted, very personalable.  She stated that she was representing Gary Gandy a real estate broker.  She mentioned that there was buyer and that they were interested.  Checked the Better Business bureau and there were no bad reports in the system.  Checked the internet and didn't see the name.  The caller id name 100 VPM, Inc was listed.  Linda stated that my cost of the transacation would be 5% of the total sell of the timeshare ($1,275.00) Wired the money to a Angela McDonald (pick up person) for the brokerage company.  Flat out lie.  Didn't think much about it and then no longer had a warm and fuzzy feeling.  Around the time I was supposed to be receiving the paper work, a supposedly representative called stating that she had been trying to reach us (Shelia Hyman - more than likely an alias).  Anyway, the caller Id indicated VPM, Inc.  She said so many lies trying to get additional monies for the transfer of the title that it was ridiculous.  Even said that Linda was in a bad accident.  After going from bad to worse, meaning I wasn't giving up any more money, she asked could she finish this tomorrow.

I have filed a complaint with the Florida State Attorney's Office.  There are over 7,000 timeshare complaints in his office, not including the other offices that accept these types of complaints.

Just want fellow timeshare owners to know this, so you will not be taken by some  sweet talking telemarketer who is trying to scam you out of your hard earned money, because there is no potential buyer in the wings waiting.

Please use a legitimate Real Estate Agency that has a Timeshare unit.

If VPM, Inc calls, tell them thanks, but no thanks.
