Acer ranks among the top five computer manufacturers worldwide. Their brands include Acer, Gateway, Packard Bell and e Machines. I am sure you already know my level of expertise since I am employed by Wal-Mart - so please tell me yours...
By the way why are you trading with Wal-Mart?

I am no fan of Wal-Mart but there is no RipOff here.
If you didn't like the 15 day return policy(NOT a Warranty) at Wal-Mart why did you buy it from them? After that 15 day period you must deal with the manufacturer. If ACER is such a rinky dink company, in your mind, why did you buy it?
After a month, they finally answered my question by stating that I had to send the computer to houston, Texas!!! What kind of prompt, local, cheerful service is that?
- Does the warranty state you are entitled to local service? Doubt it...
Imagine a warranty wherewith you have to mail the part in AT THE CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE!!
- Actually show me a warranty where you DO NOT have to do this.
Walmart is to be shut down for violation of trade, dishonoring their promises, deceitful public relations, etc
- What violation of trade? You paid them money and they sold you a computer. What promise did they dishonor? You had 15 days to return it with them, you didn't try to return it within that 15 days. With the "deceitful public relations" and "evil companies" comments I think you may have other issues with them that you did not go into.
