Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I dropped off my prescription at 5pm, and it took the technician a while to enter my new insurance info. She told me it would be an hour. I told her that I would sit and wait. I did.

After an hour and a half they never called my name, so I asked them if my prescription was ready, since I gave it to them at 5. They told me I had to wait in the line (note - they did not say yes or no - maybe this was my mistake I should have pressed them), which stretched around the corner and down the aisle. I waited in line, and after another half hour in line was told they don't have any of the drug - that it would take them a couple days to get it. The girl admitted to me that she knew that when she took the prescription!! This is the third time in a row this has happened at this pharmacy!

I realize they were busy and it is a small, crowded and over-worked pharmacy, but considering the importance of the drugs I take, I didn't want to take a chance with them getting it wrong. I asked them for the prescription back, went across the street to Long's, and in a half hour was out the door with the RX in my hand.

Walgreens has permanently lost a long-time customer. I don't feel confident about returning to them, considering how rushed and disorganized they seem to be (at this location).

They should seriously consider expanding their pharmacy department, or even moving the store to a bigger location and hiring more people to share the load.

I do have to say - to the assistant store manager's credit - that there was a lady in there that was really being rude and abusive to him(her insurance card expired months ago and she was trying to use it anyway) and he took it all with a smile and good humor. The man gets two points (or more!) in my book.

If you ever return to this business and the situation does reoccur ask the following questions. (a) Is this Drug in stock (a.1) Can your order it for tomorrow? (a.2) Would you call the nearest location to see if its in stock? (a.3) Would you call your nearest competitor to see if they have it in stock? I'd prefer 3 over 2 but you seem like a nice person who'd give them the benefit of the doubt. I think Walgreens is aiming to really improve situations like this. Regards,
