Oh, Where to begin? Guess maybe the part of where the recruiter, Yvette told both my wife and I BEFORE we came over there that the fleet was averaging 2500-3000 every week and we even asked her if that is what the trucks were averaging even in this tough economic time and she told both my wife and I...YES. What a lie. Not once during the pitiful 2 months that I stayed there did I even see a 2000 mile week. I recieved a summery in the mail that said from the 12th of November to the end of November, my miles were 4027. How can a family live off that? I had one load over there that came from Chicago, Il and went to a chemical plant in Kansas City, Ks and was a driver assist unload of 342 empty 55 gallon steal drums and after I was done unloading my wife asked how much waller was going to pay me and oddly enough, no one knew. So of course I didnt get paid for that along with the other load I assisted unloading. I guess free labor is a common practice at waller. Then there was the weekend that I unloaded at Grainger in Kansas City, Mo on a saturday morning and then waller was kind enough to sit me for 3 1/2 days and when I asked them if I could have at least $50 for food and smokes, I got no reply so I delt with it on ritze crackers and gingerale with no smokes till sunday morning. Sunday morning came around and my wife whom is at the house informed me that her grandfather passed on, but what could I do about it except for sit in the truck for 3 1/2 days which by the way waller does NOT pay layover if a truck is sitting in the Kansas City/ St. joe area. 1 1/2 weeks later I got to see my wife when she had to take care of some things on the west side of the state where we reside and she came up to joplin to see me and then our personal vehicle broke down. Eventually we were able to get the pick up truck to excelsior springs. The only way we were able to get home for Christmas was by our pick-up truck which had the water pump going out and then we had to commute back to excelsior springs after Christmas. And of course waller didnt give a d**n even though we live 406 miles on way from the terminal. Even though Yvette said that where we live at, we could get home very frequently and with all their trucks going down to memphis, there wouldnt be a problem, but I couldnt get home with them except by our pick-up truck. There is however one guy over there that does real good with waller along with a few others. I like to call him "pigfxxxxxx". He has supposedly been with waller for 9 years and is in his late 40's - early 50's, somewhat stocky build and always wears a blue ball cap. Any one can tell he has so much brown s**t on his nose even from a distance. And I'm sure if you looked close enough he has stretch marks around his lips and calleses on his knees. His is one of those that make it over there due to all the a*s kissing he does. There other thing about waller is they own a broker buisness and would rather broker freight out before giving it to the drivers to make money. All the few miles they give their trucks makes a person wonder how the company even stays afloat. I know there are some waller drivers that read this and will claim that I am lying and I dont know what I'm talking about and also tell me that I am one of those drivers who go around the industry and complain about past employers, but what sets me apart from the other complainers is I have documentation to back-up what I have said including the last settlement I got from waller of $84.37. Simply put, Waller truck company = liars, thieves, smart axxes, and brown nosers. If you like to eat, pay bills, get home, and make a good living...make sure you never choose waller as an employer. Oh and whichever waller driver reads this, could you please relay the message to Yvette, I should do a review on waller before I ever consider them as my employer? Not like I'd ever waste my time nor money going back the that fxxxing joke of a company. Here is a FXXX YOU to waller and have a nice day.

I just have one more comment.

Stay out of trailers, the freight is not yours and if you stay out you won't have to worry about getting payed for it.There are to many trucking companies out there that pay for lumpers and don't expect you to unload.

As I have said before, I'm leery of a drivers rebuttal because there are alot of kiss-ups out there, but I would not call anyone a liar without facts.   Obviously the mans complaint can be backed up with his paperwork, so you are doing this driver an injustice by saying how great you had it there, and you might be in his shoes one day.

An honorable trucking company can defend themselves and should be left to do so.

We need to stick together, because we are all we have.

God Bless all.

#4UPDATE EX-employee responds

Mon, February 28, 2011

I worked for waller truck and had no complaints.  I worked as a team with my ex husband whom was a very good driver.  We as a team got plenty of miles and our last paycheck was over $1000.  We had no issues whatsoever with waller truck.  We had Billy as our dispatcher and had no problems with miles or loads.  We always had a load, but then again we never turned down loads and never refused to do anything our dispatcher asked us to do. So I don't know why you didn't get the miles you needed but maybe you should have taken it to Billy the head dispatcher he would have taken care of it.
