A certain amount of people do not carefully review sales receipts and Walmart buyers purchase many items and have long receipts so it's easy to discard checking the pricing.

However, anyone living on a fixed income checks everything as they should including me. I'm not reporting a complaint because I need more proof of possible but unlikely unethical activities at the checkout.

I like Walmart in small doses, I have spoken with various disgruntled workers and some that are stockers and they have no issues openly complaining with co-workers with customers nearby certain dis-satisfactions of various natures they not happy about their jobs. We know they are unpaid and overworked, high employee turnover is part of the Walmart culture.

I'm only requesting in this report is to find out if people across the US may have been victims or filed complaints against Walmart for double pricing single or multiple items inconsistent in separate shopping visits.

Within a week I had 3 visits and each visit there was a double price charge for a single item and all of the visits were items less than 3 dollars.

Customer service quickly refunded the cashier's error. But I couldn't help to wonder if this was just a cashier making an honest human mistake and such as the item was under 3 dollars.

So how many people simply overlooked it or didn't care to review their receipts for lack of apathy or they have so much money they don't care.

So I'm not convinced there is proof of some corporate attempt to defraud unknowing customers to pad profits or whatever.

I'm looking for feedback if this odd repetitive double pricing item under $3 or more is widespread.

I like Walmart, ok and I would give them the benefit the doubt that in my case it was just a fluke.

But I will be checking all receipts and I encourage everyone to do the same. A $3 overcharge could results in millions of dollars as Walmart has cornered the market nationwide. Do the math and if there was any attempt creating fraud and finding proof from across the nation from others, to even start an investigation.

Walmart would be stupid to believe their customers are that ignorant, but if it's happening and nobody notices, some top brass at Walmart might be getting some unearned bonuses.

I still think it's a fluke, please chime in on this, otherwise, check your receipts no matter where you shop as a precaution to the hard earned money you work for day after day.

 Thanks,
