I pulled into Walmart in October 2010for an oil change. A short graying swarthywoman came to greet me, claiming to be the supervisor. She took my car as I walked my dogs. She pulled to the front and they began my oil change assisted by a short stocky gray but swarthy man. I caught them running the engine with no oil or filter. I complained, they told me it was an accident and everything was alright. I paid and left, my engine is ruined. They refuse to do anything. I am poor and can't currently replace my car, nor can I afford to hire and attorney. I'm screwed and it appears that there is nothing I can do about it.

How did I insult the poster? It seems if anything the poster is being insulting to the Walmart employees, or possibly racist. So now I will insult the poster. What kind of idiot needs to post like that? This report is most likely a hoax anyhow as why would they run the engine with no oil or filter? If they ruined the engine why would the idiot pay and leave?

And no, I am not a plant here by the site. As a matter of fact genius, I submitted a report against this site for posting scam ads.

You wonder why I waste my time here? Perhaps you should wonder that about yourself first.

If the report is legit the idiot can go to small claims court. It would cost much less then a new engine or car to file and if the report is true I am sure they would have to fix it. Problem is I am not stupid enough to believe this report so I doubt a court of law would either.

Wow, I can't believe you would just roll over so quickly with the "I am poor" and "can't do anything" routine! Do be so weak.

They don't have the legal right to "refuse" to do anything about this problem. They did damage to your car through negligence.

You need to file an insurance claim against them. They have insurance for this.

The Key is to act right away when something like this happens. Be aggressive. You have to get right up in their face and make a scene. The more witnesses the better.

Why didn't you stay right there and demand a store manager come and make a report? Did you at least get the names of the employees.

Why didn't you call the police and file a report? Did you at least get a reciept?

WHY would you even pay for work that wasn't done right? I would have refused to pay. That would have gotten the store manager there as well as the police! Problem solved!

It appears that you are "poor" because you are stupid. I wouldn't let Wal-Mart/TLE put air in my tire much less change my oil. they are idiots. And, they are NOT mechanics.
