Walmart.com Hacked on Walmart.com Internet
I was also hacked on Walmart.com. Seems they store your credit card when you make a purchase so it is pretty easy for a hacker. The order was placed at 2 am and the hacker purchased an appliance to be shipped to me and a gift card to an unknown person. I am convinced Walmart is well aware of this issue because it has been going on for years. How much of a red flag do you need when a transaction takes place at 2am and it's for a gift card to be sent to another person. Of coursse Walmart sees the red flag and turns the other way.
Walmart was of no help when I called that morning insisting the items had already been shipped. Person I talked to had no response as to why they stored my credit card without authorization. They ship within hours so that by the time the customer finds out they have been hacked, it's too late to stop it. It would be easy for them to invalidate the gift card but they don't want to because then they have to refund the money. It is the credit card company that will reimburse me, not walmart who is clearly at fault. Walmart is enabling the hackers because they still get their sale out of the deal
