I was asked to confirm the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix 8700 by telephone. When I did I was given a high pressured, double-talk and misleading/confusing pitch for accessories. The salesman kept saying he would "throw it in"; then mention a discount, then retract it. I told him several times that I was uncomfortable with his tactics and I would call him back if he would send me a confirmation of the "thrown in" accessories etc.. He said he couldn't and I told him twice that when the order arrived; if it was wrong or misrepresented I would send it back and if necessary dispute the transaction with my Visa account. He assured me that all was aboveboard.

When the shipment arrived several of the accessories were missing or misrepresented and the invoice listed $0.00 for accessories and $732.13 for the camera instead of the website advertised,listed on email asking for telephone confirmation and personally represented price of $275.00 and $16.50 shipping. Total $291.50. This is an overcharge of $440.63 wich I have sent emails and made telephone calls to clear up and/or return the merchandise. The emails were unanswered and phone calls have resulted in being put on hold after being asked what call was about/ then hung up 0n/disconnected. I am disputing the $440.63 overcharge through my credit card company.
