Mainstreet Host pressures you to sign up for services - even when you say you cannot afford the $1500 web hosting plus.  They break the payments into 3 parts, and claim that you cannot get a refund because they have performed the website enhancement services already.  I received 1 email report showing where my website ranked after paying $500.  I tried to contact MainstreetHost on numerous occasions by telephone and email asking to terminate service because I could not afford it.  Brian D. Hartmayer Sales Mgr. has not released my website - so that I can have someone else work on it.  Hartmayer said that accounting would not allow a refund - I am asking to terminate service, and said that I would be willing to take a refund of $400 - which is more than I should since they did not make themselves available to cancell the service within 48 hrs which is normal law.  This company knows how to scam very well, and delay any contact with you which again is not performing services as they should be doing.  They are only open from 8 - 4pm EST weekdays so if you have a problem on the weekends or holiday - too bad!  Do no fall for the sweet promises that you won't get from this company!

Mainstreethost.com works very hard to ensure ethical business practices, proper customer care and top notch web hosting and search engine marketing. This specific case was brought to our attention on 9-8-10 and 9-9-10 I as well as customer service did everything in our power to appease, make amends and perform good faith in pleasing this customer.

However as we all know not everyone can be pleased and not everyone has an understanding as to how certain industries and the internet work. Mainstreethost.com has no issues with this specific client voicing her displeasure however we would appreciate that you state the facts as they are and not misleading people with false and inaccurate claims. To clarify your incorrect statements: Your website was released to you by email and you were offered a prorated refund that you would not accept, in addition we agreed to stop the two remaining monthly payments that you agreed to moving forward.

Mainstreethost.com sincerely apologizes that you were not happy with the optimization and web hosting programs and agreed to part as friends. As we all know there are two sides to every story and Bernadette unfortunately has decided to alter hers into false and inaccurate claims.
