After my credit card company issued a conditional credit and contacted Tidewater Workshop, a woman from Tidewater Workshop called me July 6 and said my order was "scheduled to" ship "the week of" July 16. She said she is the only employee of the company who responds to customer emails or calls, hence the lack of response. The automated email response (I've got seven copies of it now in response to all of my emails) includes this line: "If you are waiting for an order place in 2011, we greatly apologize for the inconvenience."
Please read the "privacy" statement (look hard, tiny grey print link) on Tidewater Workshop's website before choosing this company. It is July 11 and I am still waiting for Tidewater Workshop to credit my charge card for the canceled order. My credit card company is pursuing the matter.
