Russ, your joking right? Tax roll data is public where I live yet Zillow cannot seem to even find this very simple piece of information. My property taxes have my home valued at 30K more than Zillow. Now let's keep in mind property tax valuations are also typically lower than the actual value of the home but that is still 30K of difference. The fact that Zillow is being used by consumers to determine what they want to offer on a home is a total shaft to the homeowner. You need to get your act together or just shut down. You are a menace to homeowners everywhere. There have been zero foreclosures or short sales in my neighborhood and comps put the price well above what Zillow shows. Your service and your data accuracy are a joke. And a bad one at that.

Hi there! This is Russ from Zillow Customer Care. Our Zestimates are meant only to be starting points for discussion around home valuation. On our site we are quite transparent about the limitations of our Zestimate and the intended uses for it, including the regular update and publication of Zestiamate accuracy statistics for all counties and metro areas in the nation -- there are certainly some areas where we do a better job with our Zestimates than other. Please feel free to contact me and russh 'at' zillow 'dot' com and we'll have a closer look. Thank you!
